Sing and See is an excellent application to use the studio. The student is provided with real time visual feedback of intonation and vibrato. The application is more accessible to inexperienced singers than Voce Vista. The display is friendly and easy to follow. Try it out and see if your students like it.

There is speculation about how popular vocal artist Adele acquired nodules. Some believe is due to a chest dominant belt sound. However, other behaviors may have contributed to her pathology. She has stated that she has smoked and drank alcohol regularly. Adele also has a strong cockney accent. This accent involves many hard glottal sounds. How is motor learning applicable to voice training?
Singing utilizes fine muscles. These muscles include respiratory, intrinsic and extrinsic laryngeal muscles, along with oral and pharyngeal. How we train those muscle are similar to a skilled athlete. Performers and pedagogues can learn from kinesiology literature to obtain the skills more effeciently.
